I love working in the yard and I especially enjoy pruning shrubs and trees. There is something therapeutic to cutting out branches that have gone askew.
While I was pruning this weekend, I started to think how this applies to our personal life and to the businesses we work for or manage. I'm sure there is something in our life that needs to be pruned.
Maybe it's a project you started that just isn't going as you planned. Perhaps it's an investment that isn't producing the return it should. Or maybe it's a staff member that just isn't performing.
It's better to prune now than to wait until it becomes a burden. Always remember that with pruning comes new growth!
